Young people, educators and employers from across Argyll and Bute are set to come together for a major Developing the Young Workforce (DYW) conference at Mount Stuart, Isle of Bute, on Friday 26 June 2026.

Argyll and Bute Council will undertake a study in and around Ledaig Car Park, Tobermory in July to look at ways of alleviating flooding in the area.

As part of Scotland loves local week, figures show that the Council’s local procurement spend for 2025-2026 was £71.8m, which represents 35% of its overall spend.
