All council off-street pay and display parking will be free across Argyll and Bute in the run up to Christmas, from 11 to 24 December inclusive.

Argyll and Bute Council is inviting people in Helensburgh to have their say on plans to improve the walking, cycling and wheeling routes from the town centre to other key destinations in the east of Helensburgh, including the existing section of cycleway at Hermitage Academy.

Argyll and Bute Council is due to start work on the next stage of the Rosneath Active Travel Route, which will see a path being created from Argyll Road to Clachan Burn, enabling people to walk, cycle, and wheel between the two locations.

Argyll and Bute Council has become the first local authority in Scotland to launch an area-wide mobile coverage survey.

Community feedback has been key in considering potential sites for a new school campus on Mull and councillors are expected to decide on a preferred site in the coming months.
