Started in Registration – July 2023
I started my role as Assistant Registrar on Islay in 2023 and since then I have had the privilege of being involved in many weddings in some of the island’s most beautiful locations. I love helping couples celebrate such an important milestone while surrounded by Islay’s stunning scenery. The role also allows me to serve the local community where I have been brought up, by helping them through life’s significant moments, It gives me a unique connection to the people of Islay and also to the many People that make the journey to Islay to enjoy all everything we have to offer
Laura was instrumental in making the ceremony a joyous and emotional occasion. A great relaxed atmosphere, that even allowed for our labrador, Islay, to participate as ring bearer.
The ceremony was carried out in a professional manner and Laura made everyone feel at ease and ensured that everyone had a great time. I think Islay had enjoyed herself so much that she was the star of the show, I am sure that the photographs from Rae will vouch for that. So Laura, thanks again Iain, Tricia and Islay.
