We are also now delighted to offer Rhumhor as a wedding venue for small intimate weddings. There is something very special about an intimate, small-scale ceremony and Rhumhor is the ideal size for small weddings and elopements, with a variety of indoor and outdoor spaces perfect for a relaxed ceremony that puts the emphasis on ensuring you have the wedding you want in front of your nearest and dearest.You will have exclusive use of our five guest bedrooms, offering accommodation for up to ten adults* (plus any four-legged friends you wish to be part of the celebrations!). We can also accommodate 1 extra infant on a cot bed, as well as a baby in our travel cot.

Did you know that Scotland is the only place in the UK where you can legally get married anywhere, but you will need to ensure the ceremony is conducted by a registered celebrant. You can book a local registrar through Argyll & Bute Council, or use a Minister of Religion or Humanist celebrant for a non-religious ceremony.

The key is we don’t seek to impose a package on you – you plan the day that you want! We can suggest chefs, florists, chefs, photographers, and celebrants who will work directly with you to make your day bespoke but at the end of the day its upto you. Please note we have a 3-night minimum stay for wedding bookings at Rhumhor.

Accommodation pricing does not include an event surcharge for weddings. Please note we can’t accommodate any larger weddings unless by prior agreement.  We have a maximum capacity of 10 people, including the bride and groom, for staying in the house and have a maximum capacity for 10 to enjoy dinner in the formal dining room.
