It is great to work with the couple planning with them to ensure they will be able to have their dream wedding. Many couples have been surprised by how flexible we are regarding locations, the best example being planning and conducting a wedding ceremony on Ben More. All the Mull Registrars are also dog-lovers and very accommodating of four-legged friends to be in attendance at our weddings!!”

We had our dream wedding on Calgary Bay earlier this year (May 2026). We fell in love with this corner of the Island when we stayed here for a season in 2023, whilst we worked at the cafe attached to the arts centre. We then got engaged back on the beach a year later and when it was time to start planning the wedding we knew there was really only one location.
Andrew was brilliant from start to finish, he ensured we fully understood the process and was always happy to answer any questions we had. When we met him at the Tobermory office, we felt instantly relaxed. Andrew helped us to create a really personal, special ceremony and we were really lucky that the sun shone for us on the beach that day. A time we’ll never forget and many thanks to Andrew for all his help in making it happen.

In the lead-up to the wedding day, meeting up with Andrew at the Tobermory Office was an easy and enjoyable process! Making the ceremony personal and meaningful was extremely important to us, and Andrew helped tailor the ceremony to our exact wishes. Having several meetings ahead of the big day, we were able to chat about the ceremony together and individually around our busy work schedules.
On the day, the ceremony was absolutely perfect, and Andrew played a big role in making it so special. We would highly recommend Andrew to anyone thinking of having a ceremony on Mull!

Huge thanks for making our wedding ceremony so wonderful. The ceremony was the most important part of our day – we wanted it to be very personal and truly meaningful, and it was everything we hoped for. We will remember it always (including our anxious ring-bearing dog!).
Andrew Penny, our registrar, was just brilliant throughout the whole process – incredibly responsive from the start and really wonderful on the day. His lovely personality and kind nature really made the ceremony even more special.
The venue is lovely too – a beautiful room, and we had some wonderful photos taken in the grounds. There were also excellent suggestions on the website that helped us personalise our ceremony.
The whole ceremony was perfect. Thanks a million to all the wonderful people at the Isle of Mull Registry Office, especially Andrew – you’ll be in our memories forever.
