Ring Warming Ceremony

Rings for ring warming ceremony

A ring warming is when you give your loved ones the opportunity to hold the couple’s wedding bands with a wish, blessing or prayer for your marriage.

By the time your rings make it on to the fingers of the couple they will be saturated with the love of their friends and family.

What you will need

Ring (s)

Run a string or ribbon down the rows of seats, then as part of your ceremony you can have someone introduce the ring warming and start the rings on their voyage through your sea of guests

Other options would be to simply tie the rings together or to use a little dish to pass the rings along the rows

These rings will not only be a gift from one to another, but will be given with the love, support and wisdom of their loved ones.

Example 2

Before [Party 1] and [Party 2]  say their vows and exchange rings, they have asked that their bridal party and immediate family before them participate in the “warming of the rings.”

If you are unfamiliar with this ceremony, take the opportunity to wish them health, happiness, and all that is noble and good in life when
the rings pass to your care.

Hold them for but a moment and warm them with your love, making a silent wish for the future this couple will share. When returned, these rings will contain in their precious
metals that which is all the more precious–your love and pledge of
support for their union.
