The Council’s Constitution sets out how the council operates, how decisions are made and the procedures that are followed to ensure that these are efficient, transparent and accountable to local people.

Councillors make decisions on area-wide and local area matters at council committee meetings. Reports for consideration at these meetings are published on our website a week in advance. Members of the public are welcome to attend.
We publish copies of our audited accounts on this website.
