Oban is a picturesque town located on the West Coast of Scotland and is known as “The Gateway to “The Highlands and Islands”.   It is well known for its varied attractions and eye-catching skyline which includes McCaigs Tower, with its panoramic views over the town.

Many couples choose to come to Oban to be married as it offers such a variety of stunning venues and locations for the perfect wedding.  Famous for wonderful seafood, malt whisky and panoramic sea views, it is an ideal place to start an exciting adventure and of-course married life.

The registration office in Oban is set in the category B listed building of the civic municipal buildings designed by Alexander Shairp and built in 1897.  The office is ideal for intimate ceremonies which holds up to twenty-five people and is centrally located in Albany Street. Recently Oban Creations came in and dressed the room for a wedding (Picture on far right). For larger ceremonies, there is a wide variety of stunning venues both in Oban and just outside the town.
