There is a pay and display car park beside the office. The building has disabled access.

Oban is a picturesque town located on the West Coast of Scotland and is known as “The Gateway to “The Highlands and Islands”. It is well known for its varied attractions and eye-catching skyline which includes McCaigs Tower, with its panoramic views over the town.

The registration office in Oban is set in the category B listed building of the civic municipal buildings designed by Alexander Shairp and built in 1897 and is situated in the town centre. 

The office is ideal for intimate ceremonies which holds up to twenty people and is centrally located in Albany Street. Witnesses can be provided if a couple want to steal away just by themselves. For larger ceremonies, there is a wide variety of stunning venues both in Oban and just outside the town.
