More ways to keep in touch with Argyll and Bute Council

Residents, businesses and visitors now have even more ways to contact Argyll and Bute Council and access the services they need.

Whether you prefer to get in touch face-to-face, by telephone, email, SMS text, online webforms or through our website, there are a range of options available to suit your needs. We have now added WhatsApp to that list, making it even easier to contact us.

The new WhatsApp service has been introduced following feedback from residents. In a survey carried out in late 2024, many people told us that WhatsApp was one of their most-used communication apps and that they would welcome the option of contacting the Council through the platform.

While WhatsApp offers a convenient new way to get in touch, there are still plenty of other ways to contact us.

Councillor William Sinclair, Policy Lead for Community Planning and Corporate Services said: "Introducing WhatsApp as a new customer contact channel is another important step in making it easier for residents, businesses and visitors to access Council services in a way that suits them.

"This investment helps improve the customer experience, increases digital access to services and demonstrates the benefits being delivered through the Council's transformation programme.

"Why not save our new WhatsApp number, 07860 064682, and use it for any non-confidential enquiries?"
