Residents, parents, pupils, carers, staff and members of the wider community are invited to attend a public meeting to discuss Argyll and Bute Council's proposal to relocate the existing Tobermory school to the Tobermory South site.
The meeting will take place at 6pm on Thursday 17 September at Tobermory School gym hall and forms part of the council's statutory consultation on the proposal. Attendees will learn more about the plans and have the opportunity to ask questions during a dedicated question-and-answer session.
The council launched the consultation on 24 August, and it will remain open until 2 October 2026, giving everyone with an interest in the future of education on Mull the chance to share their views.

"This public meeting gives people an important opportunity to find out more about the proposal and ask questions directly. We want everyone to have the information they need to take part in the consultation and have their say on the proposal to move the existing school to Tobermory South. If you can’t attend the meeting, I would encourage you to share your views through the council's consultation webpage before 2 October. We would especially encourage anyone who has not previously shared their views with us to take part, so that as many voices as possible are heard through this formal process.”
