Free support for parents, carers and families

A new free service from Argyll and Bute Council, in partnership with Exchange Families is available for parents and carers to help support their child.

Exchange Families offers support for parents and carers with concerns about the wellbeing of their children. They provide specialist guidance to families worried about their young people. The organisation helps adults to help their families through workshops, resources, guidance and advice.

Councillor Audrey Forrest, Policy Lead for Education said:

“This new partnership between the Council and Exchange Families offers practical advice and support to any parents or carers, to help their children. All the workshops and support are free and offer a safe space for you to share any concerns and receive the help you need for your child.

We are committed to helping every child across Argyll and Bute, succeed in life and we hope parents and carers will make the most of these valuable resources.”
