Dunoon Grammar in the running for national Business Education Award

Dunoon Grammar School is a finalist in this year’s prestigious Business Education Awards.

The Business Education Awards recognise outstanding educational initiatives, and Dunoon Grammar has been shortlisted in the Community Award category – a sought-after accolade that recognises schools that work in partnership with the community and other public sector bodies on projects that bring specific benefits to the local area.

Welcoming the announcement, Argyll and Bute Council’s Policy Lead for Education, Councillor Yvonne McNeilly, said: “This is just fantastic news. The Education Business Awards provide an excellent opportunity to show case some of the great work that schools are doing across the length and breadth of the country, and Dunoon Grammar is a very worthy finalist.

“Dunoon Grammar has no shortage when it comes to award winning success, having been crowned the World’s Best School for Community Collaboration just nine months ago, and never ceases to amaze me with its achievements. I wish the whole school community every success in the final.”

The Business Education Awards will take place in London on 14 June 2023.
