Do you own a micro or small based business or are you thinking of starting a new business?
Argyll and Bute Council is investing £1.5 million of funding across the region to further support local economic recovery from the impact of Covid and to help communities with the current cost of living crisis. The funding is available through the Scottish Government’s Local Authority Covid Economic Recovery Fund.

Throughout the pandemic, the council’s Business Gateway team has provided support and advice to businesses. The team will help administer the following grants:

Councillor Robin Currie, Policy Lead for Economy and Rural Growth:
“It’s been incredibly tough for businesses across Argyll and Bute as they deal with the ongoing impact of the pandemic. We know that many businesses put plans on hold and new businesses struggled to establish during the crisis.
For many, the grants will offer help to grow and create further employment opportunities so vital to the long-term economic success of the area. I would encourage businesses to apply as soon as possible and speak to our Business Gateway team for further support. ”
