Carradale Primary is a rural school set in the village of Carradale, serving the communities from Saddell to the south and Grogport to the north. Craignish Primary is a non-denominational school, situated in the village of Ardfern on the Craignish peninsula. Its catchment area covers the peninsula and extends as far north as Arduaine. The school is situated in the heart of the village and has had major refurbishment and extension in recent years. It now has the facilities to meet the needs of pupils and adults with additional support needs. The school enjoys strong links with parents and the community in general who are extremely supportive of the children in all that they do.
Dalintober Primary School and pre school unit is situated in the northern part of Campbeltown. Its catchment area covers half of the town and extends some ten miles into the rural areas lying to the north of the town.

Gigha Primary School was built in 1897 and has been modernised to a very high standard. An extension was built in 2006- 2007, extending the accommodation to two classrooms, office, staffroom and a multi- purpose room and kitchen. School meals are served from the main kitchen and meals-on-wheels go out to the elderly twice a week on request.
Inveraray Primary is situated in the Royal Burgh of Inveraray and serves the local catchments area. The school was built in 1964 and is a bright and well equipped building.
Keills Primary School serves several scattered, rural communities in the north-east of the island of Islay, from Bridgend to Bunnahabhain, in the area known as Kilmeny. The school is situated at the edge of the small village of Keills, on the main road to the ferry port of Port Askaig, with magnificent views of the Paps of Jura and the Sound of Islay.
