Tarbert Heritage Scheme is a £3.2 million partnership project funded by Historic Environment Scotland, National Lottery Heritage Fund, Argyll and Bute Council and property owners. The scheme is available to help fund eligible repair works to historic buildings within the Tarbert Heritage Scheme grant area.
Funding is available for:

Fabric Repairs - typically including reinstalment or refurbishment of traditional wooden sash and case windows, repairs to roofs, chimneys and rainwater goods
Fabric Repairs - Expression of Interest Form -
Shopfront Repairs – including full replacement of shopfront, repairs, reinstatement of lost architectural features, redecoration and new signage
Shopfront Repairs - Expression of Interest Form
If you would like to apply for funding, the first step is to complete the relevant expression of interest form by the 13th November 2026.
