Argyll and Bute Council is encouraging people to book their tickets for next month’s Gaelic Gathering, which will take place in the Corran Halls, Oban, on 27 April.
Argyll and Bute Council has allocated £8 million pounds to this year’s roads’ reconstruction programme, taking investment over the past 10 years to more than £80 million.
Accommodation providers, local shops and caterers are all benefitting from an increase in filming across Argyll and Bute, with an estimated local production spend of £1.3M over the last 12 months – up £720,000 compared to 2022.
Since becoming the first local authority in Scotland to declare a housing emergency, Argyll and Bute Council has been working closely with its partners to address key issues.
