Help to recover from the impact of COVID and support for business growth are just some of the benefits the Council’s Business Gateway Team has delivered for Argyll and Bute businesses.
The Business Gateway team offers free and impartial advice to anyone wanting to start or develop a business in Argyll and Bute. Expert advisers are available to support a range of services from free training, digital and marketing advice and access to funding.
In the last year, the team has provided a range of free services and awarded grants to help businesses with ongoing recovery and business growth.
In 2022/23 Business Gateway Argyll and Bute delivered:
- Support for 277 local businesses and 118 start-up companies
- 74 small business grants worth £345,000
- 44 small business start-up grants totalling £148,000
- DigitalBoost one-to-one expert help for 364 businesses
- A Business Gateway Local Growth Accelerator Programme awarding £111,000 across 33 grants
