Argyll and Bute Council has opened this year’s Supporting Communities Fund to help community groups across the area deliver a variety of projects.
The fund has previously supported initiatives including; improvements to village halls, help with sport and recreation clubs, climate friendly projects, music making, and art classes.
More information including an application form is available on the council website https://www.argyll-bute.gov.uk/council-and-government/third-sector-grants. Deadline for applying is 30th March 2023.
The fund supports projects based on the following themes:
- Fairer Communities – tackling poverty by sharing opportunities
- Resilient Communities – capacity building, as well as repairing and rebuilding from the pandemic
- Greener, Cleaner Communities – environmental action to support addressing climate change
- Creative Communities - creativity for health and wellbeing.
