The focus will be on how marine tourism and related place-based improvements could support the island.
This is part of the council’s work to bring around £2.5 million to Bute as part of its rural growth deal. The investment depends on developing business cases that are approved by the UK and Scottish Government.
Members of the council’s Rural Growth Team will be on hand in the library from 12:00 – 16:00 on the 19th April to explain the rural growth deal process and hear views on developing marine tourism to support Bute’s economic growth.
Views will help inform the business cases that go to the UK and Scottish Governments for approval.
Bute Community Council is supporting development of the proposals by seeking views through an on-line survey which anyone unable to attend the library, is welcome to fill in https://forms.office.com/e/6ni6eP1U2W
