Self-service fuel station for aircraft at Oban Airport

Oban Airport is now providing AVGAS fuel via a self-fuel station located at the south side of the Main Apron.

The current price is £1.81 per litre, including VAT. Pilots can pay at the external card reader next to the pump. Any updates on the price of fuel will be posted on the Airport’s website, Home - Oban & The Isles Airports (obanandtheislesairports.com), and social media.

Your Prior Permission Request, which you need for coming to Oban Airport, should set out if fuel is required and for assistance, please contact a member of staff. Information on how to use the station will be available from the airport reception (reporting point).

Only one aircraft should be at the fuel pump at any time, and we ask that aircraft not block access from the Fire Vehicle Garage at front of terminal.

The last uptake of fuel will be 15 minutes before closing Aerodrome Flight Information Service (AFIS).

Leader of Argyll and Bute Council, Councillor Robin Currie, said: “We’re delighted that our fuelling station is now open to visiting aircraft as restrictions cautiously loosen across Scotland. It gives us the opportunity to welcome flyers safely to one of the country’s most beautiful airports and most welcoming teams.”
