A team of hard-working staff from Argyll and Bute Council and Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park Authority are taking part in a two-day litter pick along the A82 today and tomorrow (Thursday 28 and Friday 29 March).
Starting at Duck Bay this morning, the team will make their way up towards Tarbet, collecting discarded rubbish along the major tourist route.
Roadside litter is a blight on many of Scotland’s roads, including alongside the beautiful National Park. With these two days of action, the council and the National Park Authority want to highlight the problem and encourage people to keep their rubbish in their car until they can find a bin, or take it home and discard of it responsibly.
If you see the team out and about today or tomorrow, please drive safely and give them a wave as you pass.
