Furnace Primary School

Furnace Primary school is a small rural school which occupies a central position in the village of Furnace. It is the focal point of many community activities having very close links with the parents and the local community.

Although built in 1876 it is a combination of Victorian building with modern fittings which provides a welcoming, stimulating environment for staff and pupils.

It is part of a co-operative of schools which includes Archonnel, Inveraray and Minard primary schools. Staff from all four schools work together to share expertise and experience.
