WINTER TREATMENT PLAN for the 24hrs from 12:00   -   6 / 12/ 2023

Weather forecast for next 24hrs

Fine and dry this afternoon, with RSTs (road surface temperatures) struggling to recover above zero in places. A cold evening with cloud amounts increasing from the west for the first part of the night.   RSTs below zero with ice and hoar frost a risk this evening and through tonight. Arriving shortly after the cloud, a band of precipitation will make its way in from the west, this preceded by a little snow and sleet before turning to rain later in the night. RSTs recovering above zero as the night goes on and milder air moves in. Outbreaks of rain persisting tomorrow morning.

Action planned on all P1 routes tonight with an additional treatment planned tomorrow morning in Cowal and Lorn East only.  Treatment planned on P2 high routes in Cowal (C4-C7), Lomond (H2), Lorn East (L2) & West (L4 & L5) and Mid Argyll (MA2 & MA3) domains this afternoon.
