Located on the western shore of Loch Indaal on the Island of Islay, this pier is operated commercially by Gleaner Oils on behalf of Argyll & Bute Council for the refuelling of tankers.  The Pier consists of an original solid stone structure augmented by eight berthing and mooring dolphins and associated walkways in order to accommodate larger double hulled coastal tankers.
