LDP3 Evidence Report Engagement

Find our more about how we are engaging with you to produce the Evidence Report for the new Local Development Plan 3 (LDP3).

The purpose of the Evidence Report is to support the quality and effectiveness of the Local Development Plan (LDP). The aim is to front-load the work and use the evidence to clearly inform what to plan for, before the Proposed Plan looks at where development should take place. The Evidence Report is not expected to contain all the detail of evidence, it should provide a summary of what the evidence means for the plan.

The LDP3 (and therefore the Evidence Report) will cover all of Argyll and Bute excluding the area covered by Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. However, the Evidence Report is being split into Topics, rather than by place.

The following are the 18 Topic Papers, on which we invite you to share your views on the accuracy and sufficiency of evidence. Details of their engagement status can be found alongside each one. Two of the topic papers also feature some additional engagement to help inform their production, these being Play Space and Local Living and Design, Quality and Place, more details can be found below.
