The Argyll and Bute landscape wind energy capacity study 2017

The council, together with Scottish Natural Heritage have commissioned Consultant Landscape Architects to update the Argyll and Bute Landscape Wind Energy Capacity Study 2012.  The updated study was approved by the Councils Planning Protective Services and Licensing Committee on 20th September 2017. 

There are two separate parts to the report.  The Main Study Report provides details of the background and methodology of the study, a description of the baseline landscape character, and summary sensitivity assessments for each landscape character type. The Appendix Report provides detailed sensitivity assessments for each of the landscape character types.

The GIS data is also available for download from our Open Data site under the terms of the Open Government Licence (OGL) (v3)
