The Local Authority provides an online Building Standards Register. It contains the following information:
- applications for warrant and amendments to warrants
- decisions on the applications
- submissions of completion certificates
- decisions on the submissions (acceptance or rejection)
- particulars of energy performance certificates
- particulars of notices served
Documents are not available for viewing online and can only be viewed in an area office by prior appointment. Copy documents can only be released to an "interested party" defined as "the current (or prospective) owner, occupier or tenant". Prospective owner identified as being in the legal process of purchasing the property.
