PayByPhone
PayByPhone is now live in Argyll and Bute. It offers an alternative means of payment to the existing pay and display parking machines by paying via your mobile phone.
Each car park has its own unique Location Number you quote when paying.
Parking meters across Argyll and Bute will continue to offer different payment options, from contactless to Chip and PIN and cash.
Why should you use it?
1. No need to worry about having the right change on you.
2. No need to go on the hunt for the nearest Pay and Display machine
3. No need to display a ticket in your vehicle
4. Get text message reminders sent to your phone before your parking runs out
5. No need to rush back to your vehicle - you can extend your parking session from your phone
How do I use it?
You can download the app to register or register online to pay for parking from your mobile phone. Download the app from the Apple Store or Google Play or scan the QR code.
Payments can also be made by calling *0330 400 7275* or texting 65565.

The PayByPhone service includes the following features:
• Optional SMS reminders and receipts.
• Email receipts
• VAT receipts
• Countdown timer on the app
• The option to extend parking (within parking restrictions)
• Multiple vehicles and cards added on to one account
There is no need to display a parking ticket when you use PayByPhone as your online booking will be displayed on our database. Wardens can automatically check if a vehicle has paid using the service.
