Lorn Arc project extension

Argyll and Bute Council’s Tax Incremental Financing (TIF) Pilot Project for the Lorn Arc Area has been extended by 10 years, allowing additional time to implement key infrastructure and development investments that will help to create a significant economic boost to the wider Oban area.

Mull Campus site decision expected in February 2025

With plans to build a new school campus on Mull progressing, the Council will meet in February 2025 to consider options and make a final decision on a preferred site. The cost of building the campus is Argyll and Bute Council’s single biggest investment estimated at £43 million.
