We will be closed from 5pm on Thursday 2nd April to 9am on Tuesday 7th April 2026.
Our Customer Service Points will re-open for normal hours on Tuesday 7th April.
While we are closed, you can use the emergency contact numbers to access emergency services such as social work or dangerous buildings, or to report roads or street lighting faults.
The council’s website can be used as normal for reporting issues, making payments and sending enquiries. However, no action may be taken on some matters like the validation of planning applications and the processing of applications or enquiries, until we fully reopen on Tuesday 7th April.
Bin collections and recycling centres
There will be no changes to scheduled bin collections or recycling centre opening hours over the public holiday weekend.
Registration of deaths
The Registration Service will close at 5pm on Thursday 2nd April 2026 and re-open at 9am on Tuesday 7th April 2026.
