What was decided as a result of the response
The data received from the consultation response was analysed to provide information relating to:-
- General age groups of the users for each play park site
- The priorities communities have raised relating to health and safety/equal access and equipment for users of the play parks.
- Previous tender processes faced challenges, leading to a mixed delivery model for equipment procurement.
- An indicative timeline for community engagement and procurement is outlined, in the Play Park Update with installations expected to begin in Spring 2024.
