Anyone or group holding an event which will include a raised structure such as staging or grandstand type seating

You can apply for this licence by downloading and completing the application form below.  You can also pay for it using the Pay Building Standards Fees option on our website.

Will Tacit Consent apply?

No. Written consent will only be provided once Building Standards are satisfied that the structure is safe for use.

Other evidence required

Location plan, design certificate or calculations as provided by a structural engineer

Fees

Licence costs £250 and lasts for the duration of the event
