Argyll & Bute Council in partnership with Sustrans are investigating the implementation of a new walking and cycling path in Lochgilphead that will run from the Front Green to the Crinan Canal. As part of this study four potential options have been identified and the purpose of this consultation is to give you the opportunity to have your say on the options.
The consultation will run for two weeks from the 23rd March 2020 until the 5th April 2020. There are a number of documents that can be viewed on this website including consultation posters that provide some background and information around each of the four options as well as examples of active travel infrastructure that may be included as part of any scheme taken forward. There is a list of Frequently Asked Questions that may provide greater clarity into the project and what is proposed.
As part of the consultation there is a questionnaire that we would like stakeholders to complete that allows the four options to be ranked by each respondent along with the opportunity to provide details on existing active travel usage. There is a comments area if you have any comments relating to the active travel path.
If you require any assistance participating in the consultation please contact Douglas Grierson
