Lochgoilhead Primary School

The school is co-educational and non-denominational and provides an education for children from Pre 5 to P7, approximately 3 years – 12 years old.  There is a warm and supportive ethos in the school which reflects a strong partnership between staff, pupils, parents and the local community.

The high Argyllshire hills, which surround the village, gives the school an unrivalled situation. Lochgoilhead Primary School, with its large grass playing fields, is situated off the main road near the edge of the village. We are part of the Argyll forest. Employment opportunities include the leisure and tourism industry at Drimsynie Holiday Park, HM Navy base, Outdoor Education Centres at Ardroy and Lochgoilhead and farming.
