There are also various museums around Argyll and Bute offering a unique insight into the heritage of the area, from archaeology to social history.

There are several ongoing archealogical and environmental projects such as the National Lottery funded Dalriada Project.

This project is currently in the semi-finals of the National Lottery Good Causes Award for Best Environment Project but with the public vote it can reach the finals. You can register your vote and find out more information on the National Lottery website.
