Up and Coming Training

Argyll and Bute Council will offer training for third sector organisations and community groups throughout the year and will update this page as plans are confirmed.  If you would like to express an interest in any of the following training and be added to our mailing list, then contact letting us know whether there is a specific course you would be interested in, or whether you wish to be added to our general training mailing list.

Risk management for community groups – This course has been postponed due to unforeseen circumstances.  We will reschedule the course later in the year.  Anyone who has expressed an interest on this course will be notified of the rescheduled date.

Community Empowerment Act: Participation Requests 24th and 25th March

Participation requests are one of the ways communities can have their say about what improvements they would like to see made to public services they use. Community groups in Scotland have been able to make them since April 2017, when they were introduced as part of the Community Empowerment (Scotland) Act .

To find out more about Participation Requests in Argyll and Bute, who you can submit requests to, how to submit a request, and what resources are available to help community groups who wish to submit a request, come along to this workshop.
