Up and Coming Training

Argyll and Bute Council will offer training for third sector organisations and community groups throughout the year and will update this page as plans are confirmed.  If you would like to express an interest in any of the following training and be added to our mailing list, then contact letting us know whether there is a specific course you would be interested in, or whether you wish to be added to our general training mailing list.

Risk management for community groups – March 2021

This online training course will look at risk management strategies in the round, giving you confidence in adopting the right mitigating actions and policies and ensuring that all the people who need to be on board are aware of their responsibilities.

Evaluation tips – April to June 2021 (dates to be scheduled)

Helping organisations embed good evaluation practice. This course will give tips on different ways of gathering a range of evidence and demonstrating the impact of your project.

Hosting an Online Meeting

Hosting online meetings requires all the usual skills of a chair, with added challenges.  This session was aimed at community groups and organisations across Argyll and Bute and provides tips for making online meetings engaging, inclusive and accessible.
