Training Needs Survey for Community organisations – open now
If you work or volunteer for a community organisation, we want to hear from you about the training you need to help you to deliver the best possible support and services to communities across Argyll and Bute.
Argyll and Bute Council’s Community Development team, together with Live Argyll and Argyll and Bute Third Sector Interface (TSI), have developed a quick survey to help us to understand what support is needed and to shape the training we provide. This should only take around 5 minutes to complete.
Please submit your responses by Monday 11th July 2022.
If you would like to receive the survey in any other format or to request a paper copy, please contact email@example.com or call us on 01631 567912.
Equality and Diversity training
Our online Equality and Diversity module is now available to community groups and third sector organisations. This short online course was developed for Argyll and Bute Council staff based on materials by OSDC. It provides an overview of some the responsibilities and benefits around promoting equality and diversity, as well as an introduction to the Equality Act (2010). Where the training mentions the “Council’s Equality and Diversity Policy” you should consider your own organisation’s policy. If you have any questions or would like any additional information please don’t hesitate to get in touch with Communitydevelopment@argyll-bute.gov.uk
