The grant is paid on approval of a completed application form and supporting evidence. Funding is limited and the programme will close when all funds are committed.
You must be able to specify what items you would spend the grant on and explain why your business requires financial support with those costs.
Revenue and capital costs are eligible on a discretionary basis, including machinery, tools and equipment, marketing, website development, premises refurbishment, trade fairs, and non-statutory training or accreditation.
The grant cannot be used towards:
- wage subsidy
- statutory costs - you can see the definition of statutory costs here
- debt repayment
- working capital (including the purchase of stock or raw materials)
- purchase of an existing business
- routine maintenance
- property/land purchase or development
