When you use your plan

Step 4 - When you use your plan If you use your plan in an emergency situation remember it is very useful to take time to evaluate what happened.  You need to consider what went well and what did not and what could be done differently in the future. You may want to update your plan as a result and if you do please remember to send a copy to Argyll and Bute Council.

Sometimes after a large scale emergency there is a “multi-agency” debrief with all of the emergency responders involved.  Individual organisations frequently debrief their own personnel.  It may be useful for you to consider doing the same.

If your internal debrief raises any questions or concerns regarding the other emergency responders you should contact them.
