To allow for improvement works, vehicle access will close on Lower Argyll Street and Colchester Square in Lochgilphead from 24th January until early April.

Please be aware, to help with the diversion of traffic, there will also be parking restrictions in place along Lorne Street and Union Street, reducing parking to one side only

Castle Street - Port Bannatyne on the Isle of Bute remains temporarily closed due to a dangerous building at No. 21 Castle Street.

Work is progressing by others to make the building safe, but the road will remain closed until the building is no longer a danger to the public.

Diversions are in place but the closure will restrict on-street parking.

The Council's Building Control Officers are working with others to have the safety concerns addressed as quickly as possible.

Updates on progress and the re-opening of the street will be provided as soon as they are available.

Due to restricted ferry sailings on Wednesday 24th February, some recycling bags were missed at the north end of the Isle of Gigha.  Any missed recycling will now be collected on Wednesday 10th March.

Due to a vehicle breakdown we will be unable to service the recyling bins on the Limited Access route todaytoday Thursday 11th February. These will be collection on the next scheduled recycling uplift which is Thursday 25th February (double lift with any excess) if we could advise customers to present their bins then
