|Overnight road closures on the A816 from 29th August to 2nd September||

The A816 Lochgilphead to Oban road will be closed overnight each night from 29th August to 2nd September. The road will be closed between Kintraw Farm (Barbreck) and Salachary (Ardfern) between 7pm and 6am each night for essential road maintenance to be carried out. Access will be maintained for emergency vehicles. The diversion will be via the A819 Dalmally to Inveraray road.

There was some disruption to bin collections in the Oban area yesterday (Tuesday 23rd August) and some bins were missed. The areas affected are Soroba, Lerags, Easdale and Cuan. We will start to catch up with missed bins today (Wednesday 24th August), so if your bin was missed please leave it out for collection. Homes on today's awkward access route (Wednesday 24th August) will be collected from later today.
