We are aware of an ongoing sequencing issue with the traffic lights at Argyll Square, Oban. At present there is a shorter time between pressing the crossing button and the light changing red for the road users than we would like. Electricians and engineers have both been on site and an upgrade is required of the existing lights. This is currently being progressed. In the interest of pedestrian safety and maintaining a safe crossing space the lights will remain operational, we ask that road users are patient and allow more time for their journey |

Essential resurfacing work is required at the household waste recycling site (The Roading) in Campbeltown and is expected to cause some disruption due to reduced capacity.
The work is scheduled to be carried out between 9th and 25th June and then again between 10th and 23rd July.
During these times we will be requesting that domestic / non-commercial vans and trailers try not to visit the site.
This will allow the site operator, Renewi to keep the disruption to a minimum
On occasion and depending on the status of capacity at the site, van and trailers may be refused entry and advised to return at a later date. |
