A815 Cairndow to Dunoon Road - This Route is currently Closed due to a landslip on the A815 close to the Junction with the A83 Rest and Be Thankful to Inverary Road.
Diversion Route to Dunoon is via the A83 Rest and Be Thankful, B828 Glenmhor Road, B839 Hells Glen road and the A815 Cairndow to Strachur / Dunoon. (Reversed from Dunoon if travelling from Dunoon to Glasgow or Lochgilphead. The Diversion Route is via some single track roads with passing places and so so drivers of larger vehicles are advised to take care when using this diversion.
The A815 will be further assessed by specialist engineers this morning and operations to clear the landslip will continue thereafter.
