How to access the network
We currently have a network of 37 chargers across Argyll and Bute.
Scottish Power took over the management of the chargers on 3rd March 2026, they are responsible for:
- Mapping their chargers on their app and website so that customers can find them
- Providing customer payment facilities and taking payments
- Managing the day-to-day operation of the chargers, including maintenance co-ordination and charging session initiation
- Providing the 24/7 customer helpline (0800 001 5234)
Access and Payment
There are multiple ways to start a charging session and pay for it with Scottish Power.
These options include using a Scottish Power RFID card; order by contacting Scottish Power on 0800 001 5234 or email:ScottishPowerRecharge@EVdriverservices.co.uk

Contactless payment options, where chargers have contactless payments facilities you can charge your EV without having to register with Scottish Power or create a Scottish Power account.
All 50kW+ chargers after 6 April 2026 and some 7-22kW chargers, identifiable on Scottish Power Recharge, will have contactless payment facilities
