Non ePlanning Submissions Admin Charge
Applicants are encouraged to submit planning and related applications online using the Scottish Government’s e-Planning portal.

For most types of planning application, a fee must be paid. The appropriate fee needs to be paid before your application is processed.

Please note that with effect from the 12th December 2024 Scottish Government Statutory Planning Fees have increased as per The Town and Country Planning (Fees for Applications) (Scotland) Regulations 2022 (legislation.gov.uk)

How to pay
There are several ways that you can pay planning application fees:
If you are applying online through the eplanning portal, you will be able to pay online after you have your application.
If you are posting us your application form, you can either:
- use our online payments service (you will need your planning reference number to do this):
- enclose a cheque made payable to "Argyll and Bute Council" with your application
Advertising fees
