We are pleased to advise that the Council has undertaken a review of the way in which community groups can receive a benefit achieved through the Council’s procurement process and the related contracts.
The new initiative was launched at the beginning of September 2020 and we would encourage community groups across the Argyll and Bute Area to think about the nature and type of community benefits that would be relevant to, and make a difference to, their communities
This benefit could encompass a wide range of areas – anything from additional man hours to help make a raised bed and fill with flowers, to supporting in the fundraising towards a minibus or community asset and anything in between.
Please use the fom below to apply. This will then be assessed and added to the “wish list” for contactors to review and offer to deliver as part of wider community benefits from the contract.
If your request is selected, we will be in touch to let you know further details from the contractor and how they plan to deliver the support to your group. Please note that we cannot guarantee that projects will be selected by contractors within any specific timescales, so please bear this in mind when completing the form.
