The Chair welcomed everyone to the meeting.

There were no apologies for absence intimated.

There were no declarations of interest intimated.

The Minute of the previous meeting held on 2 March 2016 was approved as a true record.

Members gave consideration to a report detailing the current position of the investment transaction activity for the period. 

The Area Committee Manager agreed to request accounts for the last five years in respect of both the Common Good Fund and the Kintyre Youth Fund. 

Decision:

Members agreed to note the statement and balance of income available.

Members gave consideration to the application from Mull of Kintyre Music and Arts Association.

Decision:

Members agreed to award the group £6,000.00.

Members gave consideration to the application from the Glasgow Art Club.

Decision:

Members agreed to award the group £2,000.00.

Members gave consideration to the application from Kintyre Amenity Trust. 

Decision:

Members agreed to award the group £2,500.00 as a one-off payment for this project, only to be drawn down upon receipt of planning permission.   

Members gave consideration to the application from Campbeltown Old Pals.

Decision:

Members agreed to award the group £1,000.00.

Members gave consideration to the application from Campbeltown Community Business Ltd and the additional information requested at the previous meeting.

Decision:

Members agreed to award £1,000.00 for the project and advised that this was only to be drawn down on the success of the application to the Association for Industrial Archaeology Restoration Grant. 

Members gave consideration to the application from Carradale Primary School.

Decision:

Members agreed to award the School £200.00. 

Members gave consideration to the application from Drumlemble Primary School. 

Decision:

Members agreed to award the School £200.00.

Members noted the thank you letters.
