The Coalition of Carers in Scotland exists to advance the voice of carers by facilitating carer engagement and bringing carers and local carer organisations together with decision makers at a national and local level. 

Enquire is the Scottish advice service for additional support for learning. Providing easy to understand advice and information about additional support for learning legislation and guidance for families and professionals.

CarersUK -Caring for a family member or someone else close to you? We’re here for unpaid carers with expert information, advice and support, and also campaign to make life better for carers.

Carers Trust in Scotland works to transform the lives of unpaid carers. We partner with our network of local carer organisations to provide funding and support, deliver innovative and evidence-based programmes and raise awareness and influence policy.

SingleParents.org.uk is the legacy of the hard work invested by a dedicated team of professional single parents and volunteers at Single Parent Action Network (SPAN). 

One Parent Families Scotland aims to enable single parent families to achieve their potential, to reach a decent standard of living and contribute to Scottish society.

Alzheimer Scotland - is Scotland’s national dementia charity. Our aim is to make sure nobody faces dementia alone. We provide support and information to people with dementia, their carers and families, we campaign for the rights of people with dementia and fund vital dementia research.

AgeUK - If you or someone you love is showing signs of dementia, or has recently been diagnosed, it can be overwhelming and difficult to know where to begin. Our dementia guides can help provide support, advice, resources and information.

Drugs and Alcohol

Scottish Families Affected by Alcohol and Drugs is a national charity that supports anyone affected by someone else’s alcohol or drug use in Scotland. We give listening support and information to many people and help them with confidence, communication, general wellbeing, and we link them into local support.

GamCare -Our team can provide a full range of free, flexible help and support for anyone affected by gambling problems across Glasgow, Edinburgh as well as North and South Lanarkshire. We can support gamblers and their loved ones.
