Why do Dr Frost Maths need this information?
Your information is being collected to allow use of the software that is needed to support your learning in numeracy and mathematics. There are enhanced benefits to the pupil, parents/carers and the school in using this tool.
The legal bases for collecting your information in these circumstances are:
Article 6(1)(e ) – Public Task on the basis of the legal obligation placed on the Education Authority to track and monitor pupil progress and to raise attainment in terms of the undernoted legislation:

How long will Dr Frost Maths keep your information?
Personal data will be held in Dr Frost Maths for as long as the pupil is using the service. Once a pupil account is no longer being used it will be deleted within 12 months.
Data downloaded from Dr Frost Maths by the school will be kept as detailed in the General Education Privacy Notice. More information on Argyll and Bute Council’s retention schedule is provided on the Council website (www.argyll-bute.gov.uk) or can be provided in paper format on request to School Support 01369 704000.
Your Rights
When you provide information to the Council, you will have the following rights:
- to withdraw consent at any time, where the legal basis specified above is consent

- to data portability, where the Legal basis specified above is i) consent or ii) performance of a contract
