Oban Harbour Development Group

The Oban Harbour Development Group (OHDG) meets bi-monthly and consists of key stakeholders involved with the operation of Oban Bay.  The OHDG aims to provide strategic direction for the development of Oban Harbour and ensure the safe and efficient operation of marine activity within Oban Bay.

Oban Bay Code for Safe Navigation

The Code for safe navigation in and around Oban Bay has been developed to aid safe navigation in and around Oban Bay.  

Key Stakeholders

 The following key stakeholders are represented at group meetings with input from other operational users when necessary;-

• Argyll and Bute Council;
• Caledonian Maritime Assets Ltd (CMAL)
• Northern Lighthouse Board (NLB)
