Argyll and Bute Council and sportscotland celebrate and reward the success and achievements of our sports coaches, volunteers and athletes.
This award will be made to a coach who has made an outstanding contribution to the introduction and/or development of sport for young people under the age of 18
This award will be made to a volunteer in recognition of their contribution to sport in the school or community club setting. It is open to all volunteers between the ages of 12 – 25 who have demonstrated their enthusiasm and commitment over the past year.
Primary Young Leader
This award will be made to a volunteer in recognition of their contribution to sports clubs in their primary school. It is open to volunteers who were primary school pupils during the academic year 2016/17.
This award will be made to a coach who has supported the development and/or performance of athletes or teams and who has significantly increased or improved the sporting opportunities available
Club of the Year
The Club of the Year Award is presented to a sports club that has made a significant impact on or contribution to the development of sport in the community
Service to Sport
This award will be made to a volunteer in recognition of their outstanding contribution to sport in Argyll and Bute over a long period of time. This award looks for someone who has shown considerable commitment to sport and can demonstrate the impact they have made to individuals and the wider community.
Sporting Achievement of the Year
Awarded to an individual or team who has achieved considerable success in their chosen sport within a competitive setting.

All nominations should be submitted by Friday 25th August. Nominations can be completed online using this form. Winners will be announced on Friday 8th September at 2.00pm via video link. All awards will be given to winners in their own club.
