Privacy notice - Joint Local BSL Plan Consultation

A new data protection law was introduced on 25th May 2018. As a result, we've updated our Privacy Notice to make it easier for you to find out how we use, process and protect your information.

This privacy notice relates to the collection of feedback in relation to public services from the British Sign Language community.

Named public bodies have a legislative duty to produce local plans about British Sign Language (BSL) by October 2018.  Local plans will identify how these organisations support and improve their services to meet the needs of BSL users.  The feedback provided will allow organisations to inform the writing process of their plans.

We are inviting you to participate by giving us feedback should you wish to do so.  All feedback is voluntary and can be given anonymously.  The feedback will help inform our legislative duty to create appropriate local plans which meet the needs of BSL users.

If you don't give us your personal information

You can contribute to the feedback anonymously but we will not be able to contact you to discuss your comments.
