Small Accommodation Providers paying Council Tax Fund

The purpose of this fund is to provide financial support to small accommodation providers in Scotland that pay council tax, including B&Bs, guest houses and self-catering properties, who have not been able to access support through the Strategic Framework Business Fund as a result of not being registered on Non-Domestic Rates. 

The closing date for applications to this fund was 5pm on 22nd March 2021, as specified by the Scottish Government

Businesses applying to this Fund can operate with a business or personal bank accountdemonstrating business revenue and expenditure and must not be in receipt of other Covid-19 business grant support in 2021. Eligible businesses can receive the equivalent of the Strategic Framework Business Fund, back-dated to January 2021. This represents £2,000 every 4 weeks whilst we remain in Level 4. All B&Bs, self-catering businesses and guesthouses previously supported by either the Bed and Breakfast Hardship Fund (known as the Bed & Breakfast and Small Serviced Accommodation Provider Hardship Fund in Argyll and Bute) or the Cultural, Tourism and Hospitality Hardship Fund have been emailed and invited to confirm their eligibility for this fund.    

B&Bs, self-catering businesses and guest houses that have not previously been supported can apply to this fund. The Fund is open for new applicants until 5pm on  22 March 2021 via an online application form.
